SteamPunk

I've always been a fan and I've always found that there is something interesting about the copper tubing, gears and gauges that seem to permeate one of the most outstanding genre's there is. I will attempt to capture some interesting Pics/Designs or other things Steam Related. Also if I create my own I will post pics. Metal, Leather, gears and all. Take a look at this project in progress, Goggles!.

Goggles are a staple of any Steampunk-ed person, they are as unique and as individualized as the people who wear them, which of course is another point to make. To wear or not to wear? That is the question. I'm not sure if I'm the authority but here is how it works.

Wearing your Goggles means your ready to go....or your on your way, your in the mix Steam is rolling around you and the protection provided by your ultra-lite, stylized, frames with tinted glass and leather side guards will help you see through the clouds, the tunnels, and any other element you may encounter.
Wearing your Goggles on top of your head, indicates you've just come to landing, a stop or you've exited your flying machine and you don't have time to take them off so an off handed brush of the hand slides them to their final resting place until the next time you enter the fray.
Wearing your Goggles around your neck, is the sign of traveler, the one who is busy and on the move. No real place to store your goggles, so around the neck becomes the ipso de facto for where your Goggles find themselves when not in use.

Wearing your Goggles on your hat, is the way you let others know you are not just a refined gentleman or gentle-lady but in fact you have the wild side within reach and your are ready to go should the opportunity present itself. Goggles strapped to you body, whether hooked to your belt, hanging on your wrist or hanging off your trusty rocket pack, can show your indifference to the world around you and the world is just a place to hang your hat, hang your goggles and provide a source for living amongst the other travelers which bound from one place to another. Goggles, as individual as the people who wear.....or don't wear them.
